I found this boy playing with his dog in the fountain, oblivious to the 99 degree temps. The sheer joy of it all is mirrored in both! This photograph was awarded in the 2005 Smithsonian Magazine Photo Contest. It was one of a handful chosen from over 27,000 entries world-wide!
